Subject	Brazing cracked downpipes?

Message	Ok quick question do the dp's get too hot for brazing. Brazing is good for about 1100 F* . Im not sure what temps the dp's get up too. Where its cracked is going to be pretty hard to weld all the way around to fix it, brazing would be much more effective i just dont know if it will get too hot for it. Thanks a bunch!
